We love finding fashion companies that have their design team based in Los Angeles. It allows us to meet with them in person to view get a real feel for their take on fashion and view the quality of their designs.

Recently we met with the team at Indigo Star. Indigo Star is based in Los Angeles and all of their design work is done there. They have some items manufactured off shore but the actual design work is done in Los Angeles and they keep a firm hand on quality control. It is an understatement to say that we were impressed. Indigo Star mens wear has fashion forward designs equal to what we expect to find with well known streetwear brands. The beauty of Indigo Star is that the quality is actually better than many of the well known, oversaturated fashion brands that are on the market yet their prices are lower.

Indigo Star jeans and shirts have a look that makes us think of Garage Band makes it big yet wants to wear fashions that are edgy but at the same time don't look like they are trying to hard to be cool.

No one can deny the popularity of the cage fighting phenomena. It gets more and more popular over time between MMA, UFC and other fight associations it seems that there is always a big fight about to be fought.

Clothing companies of course follow current trends and it seems like there are fighter brand shirts everywhere these days. Projex Brand Asian Tattoo Art Clothing made in the USA

We have been putting a lot of focus lately on finding new brands and designers with an emphasis on Los Angeles based companies. A couple of months back the designers of Projex Brand visited with us at our boutique and showed us samples of their new clothing line. We were impressed and brought some of the designs into our boutique right away. They have been a real hit with our customers. We just added the line to our web site, TattooApparel.com this afternoon.

Projex Brand shirts for men and hoodies for women are 100 percent cotton and made in the USA. The designs remind us of Japenese Yakuza body tattoos in their style. Current designs include Koi Fish Tattoo Art, Tiger Tattoo Art and Dragon Tattoo Art on shirts and hoodies. Projex fashions have specialty washes such as mineral washes giving the fabric a wonderful soft feel with added distressing for an edgy look.

The Perpetual Vogue Store in La Habra California will be having a Special Event on Sunday, October 18th. If you are in the area come on out and enjoy or Rockers and Pin Up Girls Sale Event.

During the event we will be featuring Live Music from two bands. Southern Rock Band, Uncle Daddy will be bringing their shit kicking music to the suburbs. Uncle Daddy has performed at many Hollywood venues including The Roxy and The Key Club. We are known for being eclectic so we figured the perfect second band for our event would be an all female Rock Band. Sugar and Chaos, an all female Punk Rock Band will also be here to Rock the afternoon away. Sugar and Chaos have performed at The Whisky in Hollywood and at many local venues including the SlideBar in Fullerton.










Also on hand will be the staff of Painted Pinups showcasing some of their amazing Pin Up Style Photography. At 7:00 attendees can choose to stay for a Free Movie Under the Stars. Magnolia Country Store is right next door and they will be taking part by showing a Free Movie Outside to tie in with our event. The plan is to show Viva Las Vegas to tie in with the music and girls theme. Magnolia is a great place to shop for all things vintage. They will be open during our event and during the movie for evening shopping. If you would like to attend the movie be sure to bring along lawn chairs as the movie is shown outside and you will need chairs to sit in. You can also order food from Pizza Club and it will be delivered to you right at the movie.
